 Tanya graduated with a MS in counseling from Frostburg State University.  She works with clients of all ages and enjoys the challenges that each new encounter brings.  She has experience in residential counseling, addictions, children and family and has provided several psychological services at correctional facilities.  She is originally from Massachusetts.  She loves being a therapist because of the impact she can have on peoples live, whether that be big or small. 

  Andrea Graduated with her BA in Psychology from Binghamton University, SUNY in 1998. After serving in the United States Air Force Andrea decided to obtain her MA in Mental Health Counseling from Nyack College, graduating in 2008.  She has worked in the mental health field for over 12 years and as a therapist for the past eight years. She has experience working with children's services, addiction centers, preventing recividism and women's issues. Andrea also specializes in Christian/Spiritual counseling and will provide this form of counseling upon request.  

 Rita Nicholson-Weaver, LMSW

Rita graduated with her BS in social work from Nyack college in 2008. Once completing she decided to continue her education at Fordham University where she obtained her MSW in 2010.
She has worked in the mental health field for over 35 years with humble beginnings as a youth worker before obtaining any formal education. Here is where the love for adolescents developed and she decided to go to college to really make a difference.  She has worked with multiple populations, from chronic homelessness, SED adolescents, addiction, incarcerated women, and human trafficking. She is currently working on her PhD in Christian Counseling with a specialization in Addiction. 

 To avoid wait-listing individuals who call in, we also have other experienced private practice clinicians who accept referrals at our service location. If you are referred to one of these providers, we will provide you with their name, phone number and website information if applicable.
